Plague 2: Frogs (Exodus 8:1-15)

2. Are there "frogs" in your life—things that seem to multiply and become overwhelming? How can you seek God's help in addressing them?
3. In what ways do you tend to negotiate with God, promising to change certain behaviors if He provides a specific outcome? How can you develop a more genuine willingness to obey?
Plague 3: Gnats (Exodus 8:16-19)
1. How did the magicians' inability to replicate this plague signal a shift in the spiritual battle?
2. What do you think the significance of God's differentiation between the Egyptians and the Israelites in this plague was?
3. In what ways do small irritations or problems sometimes lead to larger conflicts or challenges? How can you address these "gnats" in your life to prevent escalation?
4. Are there moments when you've doubted God's ability to deliver you from challenging situations? How can you strengthen your trust in His power?

Plague 4: Flies (Exodus 8:20-32)
1. How did God set apart the land of Goshen from the rest of Egypt during this plague?
2. Have you experienced moments where you felt protected or provided for in the midst of a challenging situation? How did God's presence bring comfort?
3. How can you maintain your commitments to God and others, even when faced with pressures or distractions that might cause you to waver?

Plague 5: Livestock Diseased (Exodus 9:1-7)
1. How did Pharaoh's heart continue to harden, even in the face of increasing devastation?
2. Are there possessions or aspects of your life that you hold onto too tightly? How can you cultivate a spirit of generosity and stewardship?
3. What are the warning signs of a hardened heart? How can you maintain a posture of humility and openness toward God's guidance?

Plague 6: Boils (Exodus 9:8-12)
1. How did this plague affect both the magicians and the Egyptians? What does this reveal about the escalating conflict between God's power and the powers of Egypt?
2. Have you experienced physical or emotional "boils" in your life—troubles that seemed to arise suddenly and cause discomfort? How did you respond?
3. How can you maintain your faith and trust in God, even in the midst of challenges that test your patience and resilience?

Plague 7: Hail (Exodus 9:13-35)
1. Are there areas in your life where you've been resistant to God's guidance and warnings? How can you become more attentive to His voice?
2. How can you develop a heart that responds to conviction and correction with true repentance, rather than temporary compliance?

Plague 8: Locusts (Exodus 10:1-20)
1. Why do you think God sent locusts as the eighth plague? What might they have represented in the context of Egypt's agricultural economy?
2. Have you ever witnessed the consequences of destructive behavior in your life or the lives of others? How can you seek restoration and healing from those consequences?
3. How can you avoid a "last-minute" approach to seeking God's help, choosing instead to cultivate a consistent reliance on Him in all circumstances?

Plague 9: Darkness (Exodus 10:21-29)
1. How was the darkness in this plague different from a natural phenomenon? What spiritual significance might it have held?
2. Have you experienced moments of darkness—times when you felt spiritually or emotionally lost? How did you find your way back into the light?
3. How can you share the light of God's truth and love with others who might be struggling in darkness?

Praying for you as you walk through God’s Word and are BECOMING more like Jesus.
