​Discussion Questions Exodus 32-34

1. The Golden Calf Incident
·  What are your initial thoughts and feelings about the Israelites making a golden calf to worship? How does it relate to modern idolatry?

·  In what ways do we sometimes rush into making decisions without seeking God's guidance, like Aaron and the Israelites did with the calf?
 
·  Reflect on times when impatience or fear has led you to compromise your faith. How can we learn from these mistakes?

2. Moses' Intercession
· What can we learn from Moses' bold intercession on behalf of the Israelites? How can we apply this principle of intercession in our own lives?
 
· How does Moses' willingness to stand in the gap for the people reflect God's character of mercy and grace?
 
· Discuss the importance of having spiritual leaders who are willing to intercede for their communities or congregations.
