Living in the Last Hour (1 John 2:18-29)

1.     Understanding the Last Hour (v. 18):   
   What does "the Last Hour" mean to you? How does the idea of Jesus coming back soon affect the way we live?
   Can you think of things in your life that might change if you knew Jesus was coming back tomorrow?

​2.     Being Aware of the Antichrist (v. 18):   
   Do you know what the Antichrist is? How can we be aware of false teachings and stay true to our faith?
   What are some things in the world that might try to lead us away from following Jesus?
 
3.     Living in the Last Days - Abiding in Christ (v. 26-29):   
   What does it mean to "abide" in Christ? How can we do that in our everyday lives?
   Can you think of specific ways we, as a family, can abide in Christ together?

   If Jesus were coming to your house for dinner tomorrow, what special things would you do to get ready?
   How do you think we can get ready for Jesus to come back?
 
5.     Being Aware of False Teachings:   
   Have you ever heard something that didn’t seem quite right about God or Jesus? How can we know if something is true or not?
 
6.     Abiding in Christ - What Does That Mean?:   
   Imagine Jesus is your friend, and you want to spend time with Him. What would you do to be a good friend to Jesus?

7.     Last Hour and Priorities:   
   As a teenager, how does the idea of the Last Hour influence the way you think about your goals and plans for the future?
   In what ways can your faith influence your choices in school, friendships, and extracurricular activities?
 
8.     Navigating the Influence of the World:   
   As teenagers, you face many influences from the world. How can you stay true to your Christian values in the midst of these influences?
   Are there specific challenges or pressures you feel in school or with friends that relate to your faith?
 
9.     Abiding in Christ in Teenage Life:   
   Teenage years can be challenging. In what ways can you actively abide in Christ during this phase of life?
   How can our family support each other in staying connected with Jesus amidst the busyness of teenage life?
