21 YEARS OF UPWARD Basketball & Cheerleading
First Baptist Upward is an instructional league for kids in K-4th grades who want to learn about playing basketball and cheerleading, as well as learn about who God is and His plan for the world.
Upward Basketball & Cheerleading at Marshfield First Baptist Church brings the opportunity to learn the sport of basketball and fundamentals of cheerleading together with sharing the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Marshfield Upward focuses on teaching fundamentals and introducing concepts then moving kids towards improving their skills and playing on increased levels of play—all with the opportunity for equal playing time and teaching to each child’s level. Our basketball and cheerleading league is for kids in K-4th grades. Basketball practices are held once a week and are an hour long on either Monday, Tuesday or Thursday night. Cheerleading practice will be held on Monday nights. Game days with hour long games are played once a week on Saturdays from January 25-March 1, 2025. All practices and games are held in the Kicker Life Center Gym at the church.
